MasterChef Greece: The two finalists have been finalized – Kalliopi and Panagiotis in the final

This year’s season of MasterChef is reaching its climax, with the finale approaching and the number of contestants gradually decreasing. The television audience is following the developments with keen interest, as the culinary challenges become increasingly demanding and the level of the competition constantly rises.

The three judges of the competition, Sotiris Kontizas, Leonidas Koutsopoulos and Panos Ioannidis, continue to make it difficult for the contestants, resulting in several leaving when they fail to meet the requirements. Among them was “Bombaynas”, who left for the second time, unable to secure a place in the final.

According to reliable information, the couple that will claim the title of this year’s MasterChef has already been determined: Panagiotis Tzamalis and Kalliopi Bezante. Kalliopi, who is originally from Naxos and lives in Athens, stood out in the final dish copying test, garnering the highest score and securing her place in the final four of the competition.

After her important victory, Kalliopi could not contain her emotion. As she characteristically stated, “It is a great relief to know that you are in the top four and let the others run behind you to come and catch you in the top four.” She also added that “No one will take us higher, only ourselves,” thus showing her determination.

Kalliopi, 25, studied finance, but her great love for cooking led her to follow this path. This is not her first experience on MasterChef, as she had participated in a previous season, where she was eliminated in the bootcamp after a culinary duel with Panagiotis – the same player she will face again today in the grand final.

Her return to MasterChef 2022 began with two “yes” and one “no” in the audition. The only one who had expressed reservations was Sotiris Kontizas. Nevertheless, her course proved that she deserved to remain in the competition and reach the end.

The audience is anxiously awaiting the grand final showdown between two strong contestants, who have evolved and matured through their participation in the game. Who will ultimately lift the trophy remains open – but what is certain is that both have managed to win the hearts and minds.
